JTMC Competition Registration – $30.00
This fee is for competition registration. One entry per competitor please.

The 2026 JTMC Competition will be held at the TMC Clubhouse on Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at 9:00 am.

All members who have paid full dues, attended at least three (3) meetings, and performed at least twice, are eligible to participate. See the JTMC yearbook for other criteria.

Contestants will receive an evaluation from the judges at the close of the contest level. Winners from each level will be invited to perform at the TMC Clubhouse for the senior TMC meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:30 pm.

Registration, music, and payments must be received by 11:59 pm on February 7, 2026. No substitution of music will be allowed after February 7, 2026.

Free Programs

The Club offers several free programs at the Clubhouse throughout the year--musical performances as well as presentations and discussions on musical topics. The upcoming programs are described on our main web page and appear on the Texas Public Radio Community Events Calendar.

Junior TMC

The Junior Tuesday Musical Club gives young people in grades 1 - 12 an appreciation of the beauty of music and an opportunity to perform for each other on a professional stage. The Juniors' annual competition takes place each February winners perform at the TMC meeting in March.

Young Artists Competition

Since 1956, a Young Artists Competition has been held each spring for serious students of music who reside or study in Texas, with $10,000+ in cash prizes. The competition rotates among three disciplines: piano, voice, and strings. The next competition, for strings, will be held March 7, 2026.
